Sony PS3 in 3D

Sony is preparing the ground for its console PS3 . The update of firmware 3.30 for the Playstation3 just comes after quite of the first 3D support. Initially, only games will be compatible. Another update will then enjoy 3D movies on Blu-Ray, provided you have the proper glasses and the TV.

To fuel the market commercially, Sony will soon release its BRAVIA HX803 (40") and LX903 (46"). Included in the purchase will be a free download on the PlayStation Network versions of 3D games Wipeout HD , Motorstorm Pacific Rift , PAIN and Super Stardust HD . The price of two televisions still remains unknown.

Firmware 3.30 also adds new classifications for Trophies, an update of Flash, and correct reading problems on some Blu-Ray.
